Why The Smoky Mountains?
Hello. My name is Carol, and my husband Jim and I moved to The Smoky Mountains about 4 years ago. Before that we lived in the western suburbs of Chicago. We sold everything we owned in Chicago (2 houses and a business condo), traveled the USA full-time in our RV for a year and then decided to settle down into a home again. We decided on The Smoky Mountains because we had been coming here for many years with the kids and had always loved this area. In fact, my husband and I honeymooned here a long time ago!
My goal for this blog is to inspire you with my life here in The Smoky Mountains. We just purchased a home in Sevierville and will be doing a lot of gardening and remodeling. I also love to do crafting, sewing, cooking, and I am a professional photographer so there may be some photography lessons and beautiful photos of the Smoky Mountains mixed in too!
